This is an audio visualizer based on concepts and imagery from Margin of the Strange by Future Cat Games. The demo tracks are covers of songs composed by Nightmargin. This is fan content and not official in any way.

Controls

Keyboard controls

• Space. Play/pause the song.
• Arrow right. Browse to the next song.
• Arrow left. Browse to the previous song.
• Arrow up. Increase volume.
• Arrow down. Decrease volume.

Features

All the features in this player work client-side only, nothing is being uploaded to a server.

• Settings. Load songs, import, export and clear the playlist.
• Load audio files. Load files from your device to play them. The songs loaded this way won't be exported in the playlist JSON option.
• Load audio URL. Load a song by pasting an URL to an audio file can be fetched directly from a server. Links to sites like YouTube or music streaming services won't work. Paths to your system's files won't work either.
• Import playlist JSON. Load song titles and URLs from a .txt or .json file, it must have the same format as the files created with the export option.
• Export playlist JSON. Exports the current playlist as a .json file that can be loaded again later. It saves only the songs that were loaded with a URL, the import playlist option, and/or the demo songs. It won't include songs that you loaded directly as audio files from your device.
• Clear playlist. Removes all songs from the playlist.
• Song context menu. Right-click or long-press on a song from the playlist panel to view the options.
• Delete. Remove the song from the playlist.
• Skip. Set the song to be skipped during autoplay and to never play automatically when selecting it. A song to be skipped will be crossed out (example), you can remove the option by opening the context menu again and selecting Don't skip.
• Move to start/up/down/to end. Rearrange the playlist order by moving an individual song.
• Drag and drop files. Load audio or playlist JSON files from your device by dragging and dropping them into the window. Audio files loaded this way won't be exported in the playlist JSON option.
